Aerobics Fitness Class

The Aerobics Class is designed to minister not only to our spiritual body but to our physical body.  Our physical body belong to not us but God.  This ministry seeks to help our members take better care of what God has given to us.  This group meets each Saturday at 10:00 am.  The class is hosted by Sis Deborah Noel.

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”– Romans 12:1

Deacons and Ministers Wives

The deaconess and Ministers wives occasionally meet.  These ladies are trained to help facilitate the ordinances of the church.  They help with  the preparation of baptismal as well as the Lord’s Suppers.

“If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.” –John 12: 26

Marriage Enrichment

The marriage enrichment program is designed to help foster better relationships with married couples.  Couples learn that building a better relationship with God will help them to build a better relationship with each other.  This group is not about fixing something that’s broken, rather they strengthen the bonds that are already there.  Couples go to classes as well as attend group outings such as dinners and cruises.  They typically meet on the fourth Saturday of the month under the direction of Dec & Sis Larry Covington.

“Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.” —Ephesians 5:33

Nursing Guild

The Nursing Guild provides comfort and support to the church during services, funerals and special events.  They also provide aide to the sick and perform health screenings to those in need.  Those providing support typically have worked in a healthcare related industry.  Anyone needing medical attention during services can reach out to someone on the Nursing Guild.

“And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.” –Matthew 10: 1

Usher Board

The Usher Board is a vital part of the church ministry.  It is they who greet members and visitors each Sunday.  They make sure that programs and services maintain order by providing necessary assistance to those in the sanctuary.  Ushers provide guidance for people through the program as well as make sure members and guests have a comfortable and satisfactory service experience.

For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand.  I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.” — Psalms 84:10
